Treatment of mild to moderate pain associated with trauma and other inflammatory and degenerative processes.

Treatment of symptoms such as pain and inflammation caused by injuries of various types (sporting, accidents) such as sprains, strains, bruising, haematomas, bone fractures, etc., degenerative processes that progress with inflammation and suppuration of different organs and tissues (for example parodontitis, gingivitis, parodontosis) and of the musculoskeletal apparatus and ligaments (tendovaginitis, bursitis, tennis elbow), osteoarthritis of the hip, knee and small joints.

Read the instructions carefully before using this medicine. If the pain and inflammation persist for more than three days after having applied Traumeel S ointment, consult your doctor so that the need for another type of treatment can be ruled out. In the event of acute or very painful bruising or injury you should consult your doctor or attend an emergency department as you may be suffering from a sprain or fracture or other injury that requires additional treatment.

Allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the components

Allergy or hypersensitivity reactions may occur in isolated cases.

If you experience an undesired effect which, in your opinion, has been provoked or aggravated by use of this medicine, inform your doctor or pharmacist and ask for it to be reported to the health authorities.

Although no interactions have been described for this medicine, it should be noted that the effects of any medicine may be altered when administered with other medicines. You are recommended to avoid the use of other topical products together with this medicine.

Do not apply Traumeel S ointment to large areas of skin. Talk to your doctor if adverse reactions that may be due to this medicine occur or if you have any doubts or questions. 

Gently massage into the affected zone in the morning and at night (can be applied more frequently if necessary). Cover with a dressing if required. The ointment can even be applied to minor skin abrasions provided they are not infected.

Tube containing 50 g of ointment.

Store closed, in the original package, at a temperature of no more than 25°C and protected from heat and light. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package after EXP. Keep out of the reach of children.
